Christmas Quilt

When I was younger my mom made a Christmas Quilt that my siblings and I would take turns sleeping with during December. Last year for Christmas my mom made each of her kids our own quilt to carry on the family tradition. It has been a hit with my kids. They really LOVE it!

I know it's a cute quilt. You should see the one she's making us this year.

I love the poem she wrote with it. It's cute and cleaver just like her.

Christmas Quilt magic

The date today is December one, Tis time to begin the holiday fun, So mom and dad this very night In the Christmas Quilt will wrap up tight!
The next night will be sweet Jackson's turn, The oldest child this spot does earn, The third night the quilt on sweet Davis' bed will be And he'll dream of treasure' neath the tree.
Then Ella and Avery their turns will take to have visions of Christmas before they awake! After the youngest has felt Christmas Wonder, The cycle repeats with more Christmas Quilt slumber.
The Christmas Quilt magic will come to full flower When the family all gathers for Christmas Eve hour. They'll leave cookies and milk for old Santa to eat And he'll rest under the quilt after his treat!

Thank you mom!! One day will you teach me how to quilt..........maybe when Tessa starts Kindergarten :)
